Medikament i grupit të antidepresantëve treciklikë, i cili përdoret për mjekimin afatgjatë të epilepsisë. Gjithashtu përdoret për mjekimin e neuralgjive, si dhe çrregullimet psikologjike si p.sh. manitë.
